Required Paperwork

In order to initially enroll in UTK’s Federal Work Study Program, you will need to  complete your employment onboarding process. (If you are a returning Work Study student from the previous semester, you do not need to complete this step and may begin applying for jobs using this system.)  Simply follow the Federal Work-Study Next Steps and Onboarding instructions at: https://onestop.utk.edu/work-study/

In order to complete your employment verification process, please note that you will need to present an appropriate combination of ORIGINAL identification documents with you.  Photocopies or images of the documents are NOT acceptable.  You can determine which combination of documents you need to bring from the lists on the last page of the Form I-9:  https://www.uscis.gov/i-9

If you previously worked in the program but one or more semesters has elapsed since you worked, please email onestop@utk.edu to verify that you are still active in the payroll system.  We will respond, telling you whether or not you need to re-complete employment onboarding.
