Purpose or Role of the Position within the Organization:
Students will be located in Shpak lab in BCMB department in Mossman. This person must be flexible and be willing to work closely with fother lab members. This position must be professional. Responsibilities Associated with the Position: Wash glassware Autoclave waste and biological materials Prepare simple solutions Make plates to culture bacteria and grow plants Collect plant seeds Grow plants Conduct experiments Maintain a notebook Participate in lab meetings Other duties, as needed.
Schedule:
10-15 hours per week for the entire academic year.
