Purpose or Role of the Position Within the Organization: This position provides administrative and operational support to the Administration Team within the College of Social Work at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. The Administration Team plays a critical role in advancing the College’s mission and includes academic support, student success, communications, outreach and community engagement, human resources, the business office, operations, continuing education, and recruitment. About the College of Social Work The University of Tennessee College of Social Work offers comprehensive professional social work education at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. Our programs prepare students for competent, ethical social work practice and equip doctoral-level scholars for research, teaching, and leadership in academia and the profession. Responsibilities Specific to the Position: Responsibilities will be assigned by the Chief of Staff. Responsibilities may include maintaining an inventory of College of Social Work promotional items and surplus materials; making on-campus deliveries; assisting administrative units with general operational and office support; and performing other duties as assigned. Schedule: Flexible schedule. The student can set their schedule around class times with the approval of the CSW Director of Human Resources.
