You'll gain valuable experience and skills that will benefit your future career while contributing to the success of our community. Purpose or Role of the Position Within the Organization:
Assist students with equipment and services provided by the Innovation and Collaboration Studio.
Responsibilities Associated with the Position:
Student will be trained to safely and effectively assist with: CAD Modeling 3D Printing Laser Cutting Metal Shop ( Waterjet, CNC Mill-Embroidery-Lathe, Welding Station, Drill Press, Bandsaw ) Electronics Lab and Visualization Lab (Assembly and Maintenance) Wood Shop Equipment Paint Booth Installation and Repair of Equipment Material Checkout
Schedule: 10 hours/week average, during ICS open hours (10 a.m.-6 p.m.). Extra hours are provided through administration for ICS special projects and activities. Entire academic year, including summer sessions. |
