Purpose or role of the position: The student worker will support instructional design and course development initiatives within the College of Social Work. Responsibilities include assisting with organizing and updating Canvas course materials, uploading and formatting content, reviewing materials for clarity and accessibility, supporting basic multimedia tasks (such as captioning videos, simple edits, and image formatting), and providing general administrative and project support as needed. This position is hybrid, with some days in the office and some remote work. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable using technology, with a willingness to learn new tools. Experience with Microsoft Office is expected. Interest or experience in design or content creation (e.g., Canva or similar tools) is a plus. Familiarity with Canvas or other learning management systems is helpful but not required.
