Job Description

Purpose or Role of the Position within the Organization:  Student workers will assist with the day to day operations of the Enrollment Management Operations Office. 

Enrollment Management Operations

Responsibilities Associated with the Position: 

Help troubleshooting and resolving technical/IT problems (will provide relevant IT training!)

Greet students and assist with various different issues

Answer phones and direct to appropriate staff member

Assist with filing and maintaining records

Assist personnel in Enrollment Management Operations with special projects

Provide delivery to other UT offices when needed

Schedule: 10 to 20 hours per week for the entire academic year (August through May with the option of working the summer sessions) during open office hours.  (Monday-Friday  7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.)

Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks

Strong computer skills

Ability to lift 50 lbs

Strong customer service skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Evaluation Procedure

Evaluation Procedure:

Students and direct supervisors will have open and ongoing conversations regarding performance and continuing career development.  Direct supervisors will conduct a formal performance evaluation.
