Job Description	Located in the Anderson Training Center, the mission of the University of Tennessee's Sports Nutrition department is to motivate and educate UTK student-athletes to adopt healthy lifelong nutritional habits in order to help them maximize their performance both on and off the field. This job entails: Completion of daily tasks in Laporte & Carmichael fueling stations Periodically helping at team meals in Smokey's Sports Grill Helping Smokey's staff with action stations as needed Taking inventory and stocking fueling stations (FIFO) Making post-workout smoothies for various sports Making snack bags for sports that are traveling Develop nutrition education materials & resources as needed Other various tasks as assigned by sports dietitian
Job Requirements	This job requires: General nutrition knowledge Interest in nutrition or related field of study Effective oral and written communication skills Effective interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills Ability to be punctual, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Ability to work in a team environment and be a team player Ability to work independently and follow through with individual responsibilities Ability to follow directions and input from full time sports dietitians Willingness to work non-traditional hours - early mornings and/or evenings On-the-job training is provided upon hire.
