The Transfer Center Transfer Ambassador will be a principal student liaison for prospective transfer students and their families visiting the UT Campus. The Transfer Ambassador will play an integral role aiding recruitment and enrollment efforts for future Vols by: - Leading weekly campus tours providing a transfer student perspective of what it’s like to be a Volunteer. Leading monthly tours for students and their families who visit The University
- Leading special tours which are set up to meet unique college groups or individual requests
- Working with visitors at programs such as Open Houses and Transfer Days
- Using social media to promote transfer student recruitment and activities
- Periodic phone calls to transfer student applicants in various stages of application such as awaiting submission, awaiting payment, awaiting materials, admitted but not confirmed, confirmed but not registered for orientation or for classes.
- Providing administrative support to Transfer Center staff as needed
