The Center for Financial Wellness (CFW) delivers high impact practices to increase financial wellness knowledge and money management skills by delivering high-quality workshops, individualized coaching, and other learning experiences. CFW is a part of the Division of Enrollment Management, which includes offices such as One Stop Student Services, Office of the Registrar, Office of Undergraduate Admissions, and the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. CFW is looking to hire Student Support Assistants. A Student Support Assistant has the responsibility of welcoming visitors and guests to CFW and promoting the services of the CFW through creating engaging social and digital media. This position is critical to the public image and messaging of the CFW. A Student Support Assistant has two main duties: 1. Ensure the CFW front desk is covered during their assigned shift and welcoming and assisting visitors and guests, answering telephone calls, and keeping the space organized. 2. Assist with social and digital trends and research for CFW. The Student Support Assistant will work both with the staff of CFW and the Enrollment Management Communications team to identify standard template and creative needs and provide student perspective and research trends for strategy. They will also research trends and find new ways to highlight the financial wellness experience around UTK’s campus.
