Job Description

Alternative Media comes under the umbrella of Student Disability Services. 

The purpose of this position is to:

Transcribe and caption media including videos,

audio podcasts, etc. for ADA Compliance

Convert and produce media into compatible format

Update database as needed

Review and edit transcripts

Convert print materials into accessible format

Assist with other projects
Job Requirements

Excellent typing skills.

Excellent grammar and spelling

Must be able to work 15-20 hours per week between 8am-8pm as needed

Position requires minimum of one year experience in SDS Alt Media Dept

Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving abilities

Training provided

Ability to work independently

Good communication skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality
Evaluation Procedure

Student employee will meet with supervisor on regular basis to ensure student success
