food4VOLS is a food recovery program on the UTK Campus. food4VOLS assistants are needed to assist with the packaging of food to distribute to Big Orange Pantry and to community partners. this position will require the worker to guide student volunteers and keep them on track for daily meal production and packaging this position will involve repackaging food into microwavable containers that are labeled for distribution for those facing food insecurity on UTK campus this position will involve packaging bulk food into foil pans for distribution to community partners this position will assist in working with student volunteers to clean up from the packaging this position is of the most critical to food4VOLS, without workers to guide the volunteers we would not be able to produce the number of free meals that we do each day this position is of the most critical to food4VOLS, without workers to guide the volunteers we would not be able to produce the number of free meals that we do each day |
