Job Summary & Duties: Assist with various duties as assigned. Greet visitors, answer telephone, take messages, reply to questions in accordance with standard practice. Make copies/scans, file, and other general office duties. Make campus deliveries, distribute incoming mail, and prepare materials for mailing. Assist with special events and meetings. Assist with collecting data and entering data into reports. Perform other related duties as needed. Schedule: 10-20 hours per week. Work schedule will be determined at the beginning of each semester in conjunction with the student’s class schedule and the office’s normal operating hours (Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.).
Qualifications Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities at once. Proficiency with computer systems and applications. Discretion and ability to keep confidentiality requirements, especially when dealing with records/reports. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong customer service skills. Attention to detail and ability to take direction and follow through with deadlines.
Student Assistant's will be evaluated by his/her performance through the office expectations and guidelines written in the Access and Engagement Student Handbook. The Student Hanbook will be provided upon hire.
