Students will be working with faculty and nutrition professionals from around the world and from the USDA to plan sessions. All work the student assistant will be doing will be under the guidance of both Sarah Colby (at UT faculty member) but also Raybourn Group International (an accredited full service Association Management Company. Planning will also include working with visitknox to coordinate exciting pre and post conference fun local experiences.

Job Requirements

Previous experience with event planning is not needed because student assistants will be trained on the job. The most important thing we are looking for in student assistants is a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and dependability. The work schedule can be flexible according to the student researcher's individual needs.

Evaluation Procedure

How well the student assistant has done on being where they say they will be, quality of work outcomes, and collegiality will be evaluated every month via written and verbal feedback. This feedback is intended to help students grow and improve and not to be punitive.
