Student workers will provide assistance and support for administrative staff and advising staff in the Office of Advising and Student Services. Available office hours for work would be 8-5 Monday-Friday based on class schedule and availability. Responsibilities Associated with the Position: Greet visitors coming into the main office lobby Direct visitors, including faculty and other staff, to the appropriate department personnel with limited supervision. Manage the front desk and lobby area while staff are in meetings and breaks Document management to include scanning, printing, copying, classifying, archiving and filing Maintain multiple phone lines with limited supervision, including being able to transfer and forward calls to appropriate queues or personnel. Be able to answer inquiries from phone or visitors with limited assistance Deliver to other campus offices/departments Additonal Responsibilites for Returning Students: Answer general questions asked by those on the phone and in person with very limited assistance Sort and distribute mail Manage bulletin board for Bailey Education |
