The selected individual will be part of the Mossman Lab Animal Facility team that provides the highest quality services and humane care for all animals used in support of UTK’s research programs. Along with our researchers, we pursue continued advancement of scientific knowledge and abide by responsible and ethical principles of humane animal care in accordance with all regulatory agencies. Duties include: Cleaning and sterilizing animal cages, feeders, water bottles, and other equipment Organization and preparation of clean supplies and equipment Operation and maintenance of cage wash equipment and autoclaves General facility maintenance tasks such as mopping, cleaning, or sanitizing rooms and floors Other related duties as assigned by manager |
