Job Description	This position will assist food4VOLS with collection and distribution of food on the UTK Campus. food4VOLS is a food recovery program that collects usable food from campus dining locations on a daily basis. Following a set route and time schedule workers will collect food that will be up cycled to produce meals for those facing food insecurity on the UTK campus and in 4 surrounding counties. This position will also deliver and stack meals at the Big Orange Pantry as part of the transportation process. This is a critical part of food4VOLS, providing access to food in a attractive manner is at the heart of food4VOLS. when not delivering meals or recovering food, this position will also act as a food4vols assistant
Job Requirements	valid drivers license ability to lift 20lbs Ability to navigate campus is preferred. This position requires driving on campus to dining outlets Availability during the week (we do not have night or weekend hours available most of the time) There are 2 shifts available for this position Shift 1- Mornings from 9:00am - 11:00am or 12:00pm (This shift distributes meals across campus and collects some food)- may be able to start as early as 8:00am as needed. Shift 2- Afternoons from 1:30pm-4:30pm or 5:00pm (This shift collects food from campus locations and assists in storing the food)
Evaluation Procedure	A specific route will be followed each shift, evaluation of keeping to the schedule will be daily evaluation of product rotation and appearance for distributed meals will be conducted on daily basis with assistance from Big Orange Pantry and the food4VOLS coordinator
