Job Description |
The UT Success Academy Student Engagement & Operations Assistant is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events that support the Academy’s mission to foster student success and community engagement. In this role, you will assist in hosting events, supporting daily operations, providing administrative assistance, and promoting engagement. This position is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented student passionate about enhancing the student experience and contributing to a supportive academic community. |
Job Requirements |
1. Event Planning and Execution Manage events through all project phases: Conception & Initiation, Planning, Execution, and Assessment.
Manage logistics, including scheduling, room reservations, equipment setup, catering, and communication plans.
2. Student Engagement and Communication 3. Administrative and Operational Support Support Academy staff with special projects, materials preparation, data entry, and maintaining organized Academy spaces.
4. Data Management and Reporting 5. Team Collaboration and Special Projects |
Evaluation Procedure |
Student employees will be evaluated on an ongoing basis and will have bi-weekly meetings witht the supervisor to talk about opportunities for improvement. At the end of the semester, students will have a semester evaluation. |
