Job Description

Assistant to help format data from the Phobos experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider at Brookhaven National Laboratory for the Durham HEPData data base.  This will require downloading publicly available Phobos data; working with spreadsheets, python scripts, and C++ code to format the data for HEPData; and getting them through review by Phobos collaborators.
Job Requirements

 (i.e. classes completed): Introductory Physics I & II or equivalent, an introductory programming class.  Phys 252, additional physics classes, and additional programming experience strongly preferred.  Physics, nuclear engineering, or computer science major preferred.
Evaluation Procedure

This position will be supervised and evaluated by Professor Christine Nattrass with weekly check-in meetings
