Job Description	As a Therapeutic Horticulture Work Study Student, you will be working in the therapeutic horticulture program with the Program Coordinator and be responsible for assisting in daily maintenance of the greenhouse and education and grounding gardens, facility visits, and any other additional administrative task assigned. An ideal candidate for this position has a passion for helping others, is task-oriented, and has excellent time management skills. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: watering the greenhouse and garden, weeding the Therapeutic Horticulture gardens, repotting plants, propagating plants, preparing activity cart for facility visits, creating and facilitating activity plans, set and clean up of facility visits. Please note: This job is in person only and limited to Monday through Thursday positions between the hours of 9:30 am and 5:00 pm.
Job Requirements	Students must maintain a regular schedule. Generally, students availability should be in a minimum of four-hour time blocks, between the hours of 9am-5pm Monday through Thursday. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and to work outdoors is required. The ability to work in teams and independently is required as well as good communication skills. Please note: This job is in person only and limited to Mondays through Thursdays between 9:30 am and 5:00 pm.
Evaluation Procedure	Students will be evaluated based on their performance and output with suggestions for improvement in verbal communication, as needed. Disciplinary measures will be taken as needed.
