The UTK Fab Lab features a wide range of equipment from CNC routers and milling machines, 3d printers and laser cutting to name a few of the amazing resoruces. Students will assist the College of Architecture & Design and School of Art in the safe and effective operation of the Digital Fabriacation tools availble at the UTK Fab Lab. Student workers provide peer supervision and safe use instruction on the equipment, facilitate access to equipment and provide advice/fabrication guidance.
Responsibilities Associated with the Position:
Work with faculty and students to provide safe and effective use of facilities. Maintain a clean operational environment. Provide advice and assistance on equipment and tasks. |
