Job Description	Purpose or Role of the Position within the Organization: Students will be located in Chin lab in BCMB department in Hesler. This person must be flexible and be willing to work closely with other lab members. This position must be professional. Responsibilities Associated with the Position: Wash glassware Prepare simple solutions Make media plates to culture bacteria and grow plants Collect plant seeds Grow plants Conduct experiments Maintain a notebook Other duties, as needed. Schedule: 10-15 hours per week for the entire academic year.
Job Requirements	Qualifications Specific to the Position: Must be an undergraduate student and be enrolled with good academic standing at the University of Tennessee Must possess good organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Priority will be given to Biology majors, sophomores and juniors, with a current or future concentration in BCMB or Microbiology. Students who are available to continue working during the summer break are especially encouraged to apply.
Evaluation Procedure	Student and direct supervisors will have open and ongoing communication regarding performance and development. Direct supervisors will conduct a formal performance evaluation at least one time per semester.
