Job Description

Job Duties: Attend all L.E.A.D Scholars programming; attend and assist in the planning of the Fall and Spring L.E.A.D. Scholars retreats, Fall Retreat: September 12, 2026 | 8 am – 3 pm; Spring Retreat: January 2027;  attend and help facilitate program events such as monthly meetings, community service opportunities, and signature programs; attend weekly one-on-one development meetings with the Coordinator;  assist in the creation of marketing materials for the program; oversee the tracking of attendance and engagement; manage L.E.A.D. Scholars cohort announcements; create and facilitate team development activities; assist LGL staff with recruitment and retention efforts; 
Job Requirements
  • ·        Must be enrolled full-time (12 credit hours) at UT for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027.
  • ·        Must have and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 & be in good standing with the university.
  • ·        Must demonstrate a commitment to access, belonging, community, and a culture of respect.
  • ·        Must be able to commit to 10 hours of hybrid (in-person and virtual) office hours a week for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters.
  • ·        Must be a sophomore or above.
  • ·        Ability to manage multiple assignments.
  • ·        Efficient oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
Evaluation Procedure

The student employee will be evaluated based on their performance and ability to effectively fulfill and execute the duties and responsibilities outlined above.
