Tier 1 and Tier 2 ResponsibilitiesTier 3 students will continue to: - Research emerging technologies, AI tools, software products, and vendors.
- Gather and evaluate information from multiple sources.
- Develop product and vendor comparisons.
- Analyze findings and identify advantages, limitations, and potential use cases.
- Prepare research summaries, comparison materials, and presentations.
- Participate in meetings, vendor demonstrations, and technology evaluations.
- Support special projects and innovation initiatives.
Additional Tier 3 ResponsibilitiesIn addition to Tier 1 and Tier 2 responsibilities, Tier 3 students will: - Take greater ownership of assigned research and technology evaluation projects from initial research through final summary.
- Develop initial recommendations based on research and comparison findings.
- Help identify additional questions, research needs, or next steps for technology evaluations.
- Prepare and present research findings to the Associate Director of Innovation and Technology and other team members when appropriate.
- Assist with organizing research and documentation across multiple technology projects.
- Help provide basic guidance to Tier 1 or Tier 2 student assistants on research assignments when appropriate.
- Support more complex projects involving multiple technologies, vendors, or information sources.
